EIHL Fan League Table – matchday one results from Front Runner TV

After one matchday of EIHL Fan League, the results were as follows: 

Coventry Blaze 60% v Sheffield Steelers 40%

Belfast Giants 58% v Cardiff Devils 42%

Manchester storm 58% v Edinburgh Capitals 42%

Nottingham Panthers 54% v Dundee Stars 46%

Braehead Clan 51% v Fife Flyers 49%

With all teams either winning or at least getting 40% of the vote, no team sits on zero points. Coventry Blaze top the league, taking 60% of their first vote against Sheffield Steelers – just a single percent more votes would’ve seen one of the favourites, Steelers, finish on 39% and earn zero points. A late rush by the Steelers fans meant they gained that point, although by just polling 40% of their vote meant they still sit bottom on % polled.

The closest match was Braehead Clan against Fife Flyers – a very close 51/49 affair.
